Known Issues or Limitations

Service Layer POST and PUT endpoints use direct database inserts or updates without going through the same configuration processing as screens and transactions. Service endpoint USER access audits are captured in the AdminConsole but they do not capture any historical change data. To maintain change history while making data changes to OIPA tables, two methods are available:

1. Use AsFile or the AsFile REST wrapper service to process data through activities, which inherently maintain change history. This is the only method to use for updating existing records.

2. Use AsFile to directly insert records and include history records, (for example from a converted policy), as well.
